Do HOAs allow artificial turf in Georgia?

HOA rules differ by neighborhood. Some associations allow turf in backyards or defined areas, while others regulate product appearance, visibility from the street, installation details, or architectural-review approval.

Before ordering materials, review the governing documents and submit any required architectural request. Include a simple plan, product sample information, location, edge treatment, and photos or renderings if the association asks for them.

Do not rely on a neighbor’s project as proof that a new installation will be approved. Rules can change, prior work may have had different conditions, and visibility from a common area can affect review.

LawnLogic can provide materials and design details that help homeowners present a clear request. Final approval always rests with the homeowner and the applicable association or property authority.
