How do you clean artificial turf?
Routine care is simple: remove leaves and debris, rinse dust or spills as needed, spot-clean with a turf-safe cleaner when appropriate, and brush high-use areas to keep fibers standing evenly.

Regular debris removal helps prevent organic material from breaking down into the turf. A leaf blower, plastic rake, or soft-bristle broom is typically preferred over sharp metal tools that can snag fibers or backing.
Occasional rinsing can remove dust and help keep the surface fresh, especially in dry weather or areas used by pets. For spills or residue, follow the turf manufacturer’s cleaning guidance and test any cleaner in a small inconspicuous area first.
High-traffic paths and pet areas often benefit from more frequent brushing and cleaning. If you notice persistent odor, compaction, or drainage changes, it is worth asking an installer for a maintenance assessment rather than masking the issue with fragrance products.
